Sweetfern Studios is owned and operated by Ashley DeBeyer (she/they), a queer stained glass artist. Each piece is created by hand out of her apartment with the company of her cat Fern. Ashley is self-taught with her glass creations, and has been engaged with this medium as a young adult. 

Over the years, Ashley has explored new avenues within the medium, creating things from suncatchers, to pressed flower jewelry (and pretty much everything in between). Recently she has been starting to work with encasing ethically sourced butterfly wings into her creations, and is excited to share this new creation soon!

Beyond glass, Ashley focuses a large part of her life towards wildlife & nature photography, and she strongly draws on this part of her life as an inspiration for her designs in stained glass.
